Our Mission

Our mission is to make homeownership attainable for individuals and families – one tenant, one property, and one locality at a time.

Picking up the keys to a home you have just bought is one of the most memorable and satisfying experiences. However, it is becoming increasingly difficult for many people – including key workers, business owners - to experience this, no matter how hard they work, how much they save, or how responsible they become.

The traditional method of securing a home in the UK, via a mortgage, has become outdated and increasingly inaccessible to most, as increasing house prices continue to fall out of kilter with wage growth, and stricter mortgage hurdles and increasing interest rates due to inflation make it ever more of a distant reality for homeownership.

At SuchHomes, we see this as not only a housing issue, but a financial and social one, as we believe home ownership provides a stable foundation to build stable families and generational wealth, which form the backbone of a healthy and functioning society.

This needs to change.

We want to be a part of the solution to the housing crisis by offering an alternative route for the 75% of current UK renters, who want to own their own homes, to get on the property ladder and build generational wealth.

Our Values

  • Accessibility and Inclusivity: We believe that everyone deserves the chance to secure homeownership, as a means to building a prosperous future. Therefore, we are committed to providing accessible pathways to individuals and families from diverse backgrounds, including those who may face financial challenges or have limited access to traditional mortgage financing. We will consciously and actively work towards removing any societal barriers, and centre inclusivity in our scheme.

  • Customer-centric Approach: We recognise that our stakeholders are central to everything that we do. We will prioritise their needs, satisfaction and success. We will actively listen to their feedback and act on it, value their input, and always work to exceed their expectations, while building strong and long-term relationships founded on mutual respect
    and trust.

  • Ethics & Trust: We are committed to upholding the highest ethical standards in all aspects of what we do. We will act with transparency, honesty and fairness in our dealings with investors, tenants, and other stakeholders. We believe that trust is at the heart of all successful relationships, and we will work to maintain it through our ethical conduct, by treating tenants fairly, buying properties responsibly and regular monitoring of investments.

  • Innovation & Adaptability: We will strive to innovate and make our products easy to use and access for our clients, and seek new ways to improve our processes, technology and services. We will adapt to changing market dynamics, new trends, and evolving stakeholder needs. We will work to deliver value for our tenants and investors by staying agile and forward-thinking.

  • Financial Responsibility: We are committed to prudent financial practices, responsible decision-making and adhering to applicable regulations. We also recognise that financial literacy is crucial for the transition of our tenants to homeowners at the end of their lease term. Therefore, we will provide support and resources towards credit improvement, building savings and enhancing financial literacy relevant to the home purchase and their long-term success.

  • Collaborative Partnerships: We will actively work with mortgage lenders, estate agents, valuers, local councils, community organisations and other stakeholders to enhance support and resources available to our tenants and investors. By developing mutually beneficial relationships, we hope to create a strong ecosystem for homeownership for our tenants.

  • Continuous Learning and Growth: We will embrace a culture of learning, growth and improvement. We will create an enabling environment that allows team members to expand their knowledge, develop their skills, and stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices. This will place us in a better position to serve our stakeholders and adapt to market developments.

  • Social Impact: We recognise the gravity of the UK housing issue, and understand our responsibility towards contributing positively to our society. We want to make a social impact by using our scheme to empower individuals and families financially, provide stability and security for our tenants to focus on building families and following their aspirations. We will prioritise sustainable practices in our operations and seek to improve the well-being of our communities through our actions.
